At Umeed Psychology, we provide comprehensive ADHD assessments for children, teens, and adults seeking clarity around attention, focus, impulsivity, and executive functioning.

Whether you’ve always felt “scattered,” struggled with organisation, or wondered why tasks others find simple feel overwhelming—an ADHD assessment can help you understand your unique wiring and access the right support.

• Inattention – forgetfulness, difficulty sustaining focus, being easily distracted

• Hyperactivity & Impulsivity – restlessness, talking over others, acting without thinking

• Executive Functioning – challenges with planning, time management, memory, and task-switching

• Emotional Regulation – sensitivity to criticism, frustration, or overwhelm

• Co-occurring concerns – such as anxiety, learning difficulties, or autism

• Children with behavioural or school challenges

• Teenagers struggling with motivation or overwhelm

• Adults who relate to ADHD traits and want clarity or diagnosis

• People who were misdiagnosed or missed altogether growing up, especially women and those from CALD backgrounds

• Collaborative clinical interviews

• Standardised diagnostic tools (e.g. DIVA-5, Conners, BRIEF)

• Reports that include diagnosis (if applicable), your strengths, and practical next steps

• Feedback session to walk through your results and explore strategies for support

ADHD looks different in everyone. We take the time to understand your lived experience, not just tick boxes.

We do assessments for individuals ages 5 - 60 years old.

We will first have a call to discuss your needs and book in your appointments.

We will then have:

Session 1 (Intake - 50 mins)

Session 2 (Assessment- 50 mins)

Session 3 (Assessment- 50 mins)

Session 4 (Cognitive Assessment- 50 mins) - Optional 

Session 5 (Cognitive Assessment- 50 mins)- Optional 

Session 6 (Feedback- 50 mins)

Fully Registered Psychologist | If you are seeing a fully registered psychologist then assessment sessions are charged at $220.00 per 50 minute session.  Medicare rebates may be applicable to some assessment sessions. Your assessing clinician will discuss with you which sessions do attract a Medicare rebate. Payment is processed at the end of the session via our Halaxy practice management system.

The report cost is $880.00 (incl. GST). Payment is required at the time of receiving the report at the final feedback session.

We offer low-cost assessment options for individuals and families who may be experiencing financial hardship. Everyone deserves access to quality psychological support, and we’re committed to making our services as inclusive and accessible as possible.
